Nostalgia

It’s raining! Plitter-platter plitter-platter…oh the sound!

The weather is so beautiful that it almost hurts. I love the rains but hate the way they make me nostalgic. It’s like stepping upon a piece of lego, particularly on one that you never knew were missing in first place.

And then the real world just kind of disappears, you fall back in time and the movie starts in slow motion; picture perfect but lost to you now.

*Sigh*

Anyway… Sharing with you this Marathi poem composed by me. I absolutely love this one as it tries to capture those flitting moments of love and insecurities.

I so hope I could go back to all of that. But each of our actions, decisions and choices set a series of events in motion; and then it is too late to take it back. We can’t always save Sirius and Buckbeak!

What a beautiful day it really was…..

  1. Wow what a lovely poem. You poem just lifted my soul to the peak of emotions.
Yes Rain makes most of us nostalgic, and I am one among them.
Yes our choices and action take us far from our moments and all we are left with is memory.
But remember we all can cherish them deep in our heart whenever it rains. 😊😊
