Nervously, he stood in front of his family, unsure of how he’ll be received. His parents had always been unorthodox, but this was a new even for them.

“Don’t fret dear, you look beautiful” his Ma quipped pulling him into the house, tucking a loose strand of hair behind his ear and adjusting his saree’s pallu.

He was accepted by them, the rest did not matter…

Those kids, to top it off, are good at everything and we have to somehow live up to their standards.
